well, the doctor's due date was yesterday...and it came and went with no baby. (all apologies to my sister sonja, whose birthday happened to be yesterday and who was convinced that she would be born last night)
we did have some new contractions and pain yesterday, but they only lasted a few hour as opposed to the apparently customary 16 hours of hopes-raising contractions that go nowhere.
so now we're focusing on plan b -- due date of thursday, which is based on my actual ovulation date, rather than the pregnancy wheel. so i'm telling myself that she's not late, her due date just hasn't arrived yet.
that said, we're no more patient or content than we were...i'm sure we're even less so.
i'm anxious for the doctor's appointment tomorrow, and it's really hard for me to believe it's only been a week since the last one. the days are really dragging now.....
