Baby Update

So, this update is coming from Teresa. Megan has been laboring since about 845 this morning when the doctor broke her water. She worked her body all day trying to get that little baby out. She walked, rolled on the ball, pumped to release hormones, everything she could. This little girl just needs a little more convincing. So, we just moved over to the normal labor and delivery and they are starting a low dose of pitocin. They'll increase as necessary, but hopefully it will just throw Megan right into labor. She has to have her by tomorrow at 8am, so we will look forward to sharing the news sometime soon.

When her doctor just came in he gave her a pep talk, and said that he's feeling very optimistic about the pitocin and labor, etc. He put her arm around her when she said, say something...give me a pep talk then said, "Megan, this baby is coming out."

Anyway, Megan's doing wonderfully and really sticking in there. Please keep her and Derek in your prayers on this long day of anticipation and hard work.
