hemo'bloggin'

happy afternoon.

as you may or may not know from the previous post, megan had some seriously low hemoglobin levels after birth which were brought back up to much safer levels due to 2 units of blood. As you can see below, megan is looking and feeling much better. We moved from the Peranatal ICU to the postnatal room today... a smaller room but larger bathroom. charis will be discharged this evening and she will still remain in our care while we're at the hospital. the plan now is to discharge megan tomorrow.

until we speak again, we sleep.

I'm thankful you are doing better. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Derek, you are such a good sport for sleeping in the "chair/bed." It is awful for trying to sleep, so kudos to you for hanging in there to stay by Megan's side. Keep getting better:)
